This is available to Free, Pro, and Agency users; generated results (and the selection metadata) are saved to the project so you can re-run or refine the edit later.

Most generations complete in seconds to under a minute. Complex prompts or large images may take a bit longer — you’ll see live progress in your workspace while the design is being created.
First, try again — many failures are transient. If problems persist: 1) confirm your image is JPG/PNG and under 20 MB, 2) try a simpler prompt or a smaller image, and 3) check that you haven't reached your monthly generation limit. If you still need help, contact support and include your account email, project name (or project ID), generation ID (if available), and the time of the attempt so we can investigate quickly.

If you see a bright TEST MODE ACTIVE banner at the bottom of the screen, it means a site admin has enabled sandbox/test payment modes for troubleshooting. This banner appears only to admins and no real charges will be made while test mode is active.
The Workspace offers two AI models. Standard mode uses Gemini (fast, supports up to 3 or 5 reference images, good for full-room redesigns). GPT Image mode uses OpenAI's image-editing model for precise, pixel-level changes — best when you want to alter one specific element without affecting the rest of the image. GPT Image automatically falls back to Standard if unavailable. Both modes count toward your monthly generation limit.
The Creativity slider controls how closely the AI follows your prompt. 'Exact edit' keeps changes minimal and literal — only what you asked for. 'Balanced' (default) follows the request but allows tasteful interpretation. 'Concept mode' gives the AI more freedom to make complementary enhancements beyond the exact request. Use Exact edit when iterating on a specific change; use Concept mode when you want a fuller design exploration.
Yes — the Workspace has an optional floor plan upload field. When provided, the AI treats the floor plan as a hard spatial constraint (not style inspiration), preserving layout, door placement, window placement, and room proportions. This is especially useful for renovation planning where the structural layout must not change. All plans (Free, Pro, Agency) can use this feature.

Free accounts receive 5 AI generations per month at 1080p resolution. Pro accounts include 100 generations/month and Agency accounts include 250 generations/month. Pro and Agency also unlock 4K downloads and additional features like shareable project links. Monthly generation counts reset on the 1st of each month — you can upgrade at any time to get more generations immediately.
Free users receive generated designs at 1080p. Pro and Agency plan subscribers can download full 4K outputs — ideal for client presentations and large-format use. Generated previews in the workspace are suitable for quick review regardless of plan.
Yes, you can cancel at any time from your account settings. Your access continues through the end of your current billing period.
If you reach your monthly generation limit you won't be able to create more designs until your quota resets on the 1st of the next month. You can also upgrade to a higher plan at any time to get more generations immediately (we'll show upgrade options in your account).

Yes. Your uploaded photos and generated images are stored securely on Amazon S3 and remain private to your account. We do not share your images with third parties or use them to train public AI models. To remove images or delete your account, please use the contact form or email hello@designdraft.ai with your account email and a short request — standard removal requests are typically completed within 2 business days. We may retain limited transactional records (invoices/receipts) as required by law.
